WE have @34 fish at last count. We lost 6 over the 2 week break. The ones we have look BIG (easily an inch). Current readings are pH 8.0, ammonia .50, nitrate 0, nitrite 0. Should we do anything to raise nitrate, and lower ammonia? Thanks!

Your water quality sounds good! Yes, it would be good to see the nitrate rise a little, and pH come down a little, but I wouldn't actively change anything as long as you are confident of the readings. Keep adding the StressZyme weekly...
Regarding the fish count- the transition from non-feeding alevin to feeding fry (or parr) is a huge change and, naturally, many of the little guys just don't begin to feed successfully. So, setting aside the filter fuax pas, the drop in numbers is part of the natural process, and we'll likely see it in all of the tanks. We'll see...
